We first want to just say, Thank You! Thank you for supporting us, encouraging us, and for taking this journey with us during our first year as the owners of Bouncing Babies. We couldn’t have been nearly as successful, or had nearly as much fun, if it weren’t for all you!
We wanted to take few moments to reflect on everything that this past year has entailed for us. We’ve taken multiple trips to see each other, we’ve met each others families, and we’ve developed an even stronger friendship and business relationship too. Stacey was able to come visit Megan in Seattle twice in the past year, and Megan made it to Minneapolis once as well. We’re even planning a real family vacation for our families this Fall! We worked hard and played hard during our trips together. When we’re together, we spend lots of time planning all the great deals and such for you all, but we also spend lots of time just being friends. We cook for everyone, play lawn games, and we even completed a 5k together! We participated in The Color Run in Minneapolis in July 2012, which benefited Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless.
This past year in the store, we have added so many new products! Both additional products from lines we were already carrying at our Grand Reopening, and also entirely new lines. A few of the new brands we have brought in this past year are CJ’s BUTTer, Cow Patties, Econobum, Hemp Babies, Kawaii Cloth Diapers, and Nutiva Coconut Oil. We are very proud to have accomplished this massive expansion during our first year in business. We have really appreciated the feedback you’ve all given us, we really do take it all into account when choosing what to bring to Bouncing Babies next. We are always looking to grow and evolve with the needs of our customers.
There are great things on the horizon for Bouncing Babies in the next year as well. We have plans to continue to grow our presence, both online and in both of our communities, and also to continue to expand our assortment of products in the store as well. Stacey is all set to begin teaching a Cloth Diapers 101 class in St. Paul at Health Foundations. The first date for that class is September 15, 2012 at 1pm. It is free to the public, you just need to register with Health Foundations if you are interested in attending. We are working on getting a similar class going in the Seattle area for Megan to teach. It is important to us to have that community connection, as that is one of the most fun aspects of our business to us. We want to encourage and support anyone who endeavors to start using cloth diapers.
We’ll close this little recap by just saying Thank You again. We believe we have the best customers out there! We have had an absolute blast running Bouncing Babies together, and getting to know all of you just a little bit. We look forward to an equally exciting 2nd year!
